For Remco Erkeland, skateboarding has never been just a sport. Ever since he happened to see the Dutch Championships in Tilburg years ago, Remco has been hooked. The countless hours he spent on his board – rain or shine, weekend or not – paid off. And with the support of a loyal group of sponsors, he now focuses full-time on his specialisation: street skating.

His ultimate goal: the Olympic Games. Not necessarily to take home the title, but mainly to show who he is and what he can do. And to emphasise that skateboarding – even at the highest level – is mainly about having fun with other enthusiasts. About enjoying yourself, being generous to each other and sharing the same passion.
